An illustrated book has been produced in partnership with publisher HENI to coincide with the opening of Cathy Wilkes' exhibition.
This publication, one of the only existing books on the artist, features a new set of prints related to Cathy Wilkes' highly anticipated work for the Venice Biennale, and provides rare insights into Wilkes’ creative process. An essay by curator Dr Zoé Whitley explores Wilkes’ art in the context of the artist’s acceptance of ambiguity as a key element in her intense and mysterious work.
Designed by Berlin-based book designer Yvonne Quirmbach in close collaboration with the artist herself, this unique publication is as much an artist’s book as a record of this major international exhibition.
